Mezzo-soprano Christina Pezzarossi Ramsey joins the Monterey Piano Trio — violinist Strauss Shi, cellist Ben Fried, and pianist Connie Kim-Sheng — for Le Salon de Musiques' 2026–2027 season finale, an intimate, up-close chamber music experience in the heart of La Jolla. Christina brings Schumann's Dichterliebe, Op. 48, to the program, followed by two rarely-heard piano trios: Louise Farrenc's Piano Trio No. 2 in D minor, Op. 34 (in its San Diego premiere), and Fanny Mendelssohn's Piano Trio in D minor, Op. 11 — a fitting close to a season devoted to discovery and rediscovery in the chamber repertoire.
